Tracey Atkinson, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Tracey Atkinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working in the mental health
field for over 20 years. She has worked collaboratively with various community resources
including police departments, sheriff’s departments, emergency room staff, jail staff, school
staff and other organizations directly impacted by mental health.
She is actively involved in public speaking engagements on mental health to plant seeds of hope
and advocate and educate for change. She has had the privilege of speaking at the NAMI
Annual Conference, WI Head Start Annual Conference, WI Children Come First Conference, WI
Counseling Association Annual Conference and the UW Lacrosse Suicide Prevention Summit.
Tracey is a published author and has written and illustrated several children/teen books,
combining creativity and relatable mental health issues.
Tracey provides Christian based therapy services to the teenage and adult population, as well as
couples/marital counseling. She has knowledge, expertise and training in CBT, DBT and Trauma
Focused therapy. Her connection to faith is strong, with her favorite scripture being Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with
you wherever you go”. Mental health struggles can make us feel very alone, however, in your
journey of healing, not only will I be with you along your journey, God will be as well!
