Sarah Shermo, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Sarah earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee
and Bachelors in Sociology from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Over the past 20 years
she has worked in a variety of settings for outpatient, residential and medication assisted
Substance Use Treatment, inpatient and outpatient Medical Social Work, and outpatient
Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and a trained EMDR therapist. She works with
adults with a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood disorders
using therapies such as Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
