Kevin C. Randall
Clinical Director

Kevin is a state certified outpatient psychotherapist and an international board certified professional Christian counselor as well as a national certified clinical sexual addiction specialist trainer. Kevin earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kevin is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He has over thirty years of experience working with people in crisis in South Central Wisconsin. Kevin worked for seven year as a part of an inpatient psychiatric unit. He assessed and treated individuals with various serious mental health difficulties. These difficulties were serious enough that the individual required twenty-four hour inpatient treatment. Kevin worked on both the child/adolescent and adult units. He also worked two years for a partial hospitalization program. This was an intensive treatment program that worked with individuals who were struggling with severe mood disorders. This included depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD and eating disorders. Many of the patients were also struggling with suicidal ideation. Kevin has done outpatient psychotherapy at The Center for over thirty years.  At The Center, the main population Kevin works with is adult men and women. He provides both individual and couples counseling. He is also a skilled group facilitator. At the present time, Kevin specializes with individuals with sexual addiction and trauma. The majority of his work is with couples, with an emphasis on couples in crisis, and men and women who have been wounded by trauma.

Justin Bangert, MS LMFT
Marriage and Family Therapist

Justin is a master’s level therapist, having earned a graduate degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Wisconsin Stout and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He holds membership with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as membership with the American Association of Christian Counselors. His therapy experience includes working with families, couples, individuals, children and adolescents in multiple settings including day-treatment centers, in-home facilities and outpatient service agencies. Justin is devoted to helping others bring harmony and satisfaction into their interpersonal relationships, and their intrapersonal and spiritual relationships. More specifically, he has a deep passion for working with couples and utilizes multiple strength-based approaches to couples therapy models aimed at helping pre-marital and marital couples prevent and endure times of relationship crisis. Justin is also developing his practice with a special focus on young men and spouses who struggle with sexual integrity issues.

Frederick W. Coleman, Medical Director
Psychiatric Consultant

Fred is the psychiatric consultant at the Center. He has over 30 years of experience in psychiatry, with expertise in many areas, including trauma, emergency mental health, psychopharmacology, cross-cultural psychiatry, treatment of personality disorders, grief, bereavement, religion and spirituality. Presently employed at the Mental Health Center of Dane County, working in the South East Asian project/Kajsiab House and the Yahara House, Fred is active in a private consulting practice. He has been a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Wisconsin since 1982, and is affiliated with a number of hospitals in the Madison area. Fred holds membership in both the American Psychiatric Association and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Nadia Damm, Psy D.

Dr. Nadia Damm is a clinical psychologist whose highest degree is a doctorate from Pepperdine University. She received specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy and her research background examines the intersection of spirituality and traumatic life events.  Dr. Damm works with individuals, couples and groups to improve interpersonal functioning and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.  She is licensed in the state of Wisconsin.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association, American Association of Christian Counselors and the Society for Christian Psychologists.

Renae Diener, M.A.
 
Licensed Professional Counselor
 

Renae Diener is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. Her doctoral research examines the relationship between childhood bereavement of parental loss, grief, and spirituality. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in psychological testing at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. and has had varied clinical and assessment experience in community mental health centers, a kindergarten through 8th grade private school, a children’s hospital, and a rehabilitation hospital. She has a special interest in child and adolescent mental health, grief and loss, and psychological testing. Renae is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Lisa Doyle, MSSW, LCSW
 
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

 

Lisa Doyle is a master’s level therapist, with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee, Nashville campus. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin. Her 18 years of counseling experience has been in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, in-home, and with home health services. She has worked with a wide variety of clients including children and adults, with both mental health and alcohol and drug issues. Her experience includes assisting those in transitional states of life or in need of working through trauma or grief issues. She particularly enjoys sharing her saving relationship with Christ as the foundation for a full and healthy life.

David N. Emmrich M. Div., STM, MS, LPC
 

David holds Masters’ degrees from Concordia Seminary, St. Cloud State University, and Concordia University. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He has over 30 years of experience working with youth, college students, families, couples and individuals in academic, correctional, military, and congregational settings. He has assisted people with grief counseling, life issues counseling, pre-marital and marriage counseling, and spiritual counseling. David has a special interest in treating people with panic and anxiety disorders, stress, OCD, depression, mood swings, sexual addiction, grief and loss, marriage and family issues, Attention Deficit Disorder, and other areas.

Cheri Milton, MS, MFT
Marriage and Family Therapist
Offering full-time hours M-F beginning October 1st

Cheri Milton is a master’s level therapist, with a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, from Edgewood College and an undergraduate degree in human development and family relationships from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her counseling experience includes couples therapy, family therapy, grief counseling, life stage and life transition issues. She teaches classes for engaged couples and parent’s of adolescents. Cheri speaks often for women’s groups and retreats and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

William Minser, M. Div., D. Min., CSAC, MAC
 
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor

 

Dr. Bill Minser is an ordained Baptist pastor.  He received both Masters and Doctoral degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts.  After 27 years as a full-time pastor, he became an Addictions Counselor and served at the Caron Treatment Center’s Men’s Extended Care Unit in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.  He earned Pennsylvania certificates as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with additional certification in Co-occurring Disorders (addiction + mental health issues) and Problem Gambling.  Following retirement he taught The Sociology of Substance Abuse at Rosemont College, worked as a contract counselor for Lutheran Social Services and served as a consultant for a private therapy and counseling center near Philadelphia.

Bill is Wisconsin-certified as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, and is a provider for the Dane County Intoxicated Driver program.He  is also certified as a Master Addictions Counselor by the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals.  Bill finds great satisfaction in working with alcoholics and their families to overcome addiction and form healthier family systems.

Corina Helgestad, LPC
 
Licensed Professional Counselor

Corina Helgestad holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.  She likes working with adolescents and adults, either individually, in couples, or as a family.  She has helped people who were struggling with parenting, emotional, and relationship problems as well as people who were victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and rape.  Corina has a special interest in helping teen-aged girls with such issues as cutting, anxiety, depression, and suicidality.  She is a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator for couples counseling and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.  Her belief is that there is hope for every situation.  She looks for the best in people and treats every client with respect and dignity.  Corina often says,“One of the best aspects of my life is helping others succeed in theirs.”

Jason Wood , M.Div., MA, LPC
 
Individual and Couples Therapist

Jason Wood is a Masters level therapist, with a professional counseling degree from Liberty Graduate School. He is licensed with the state of Wisconsin as a professional counselor. Jason is has, and is currently serving in senior leadership at a variety of churches.  He provides counseling services for individuals and couples, with a special emphasis of providing care for ministry leaders.

Amy Vincent, MFT, CADC II
Marriage and Family Therapist & 
CSAC Certified Substance Abuse Counselor

Amy earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. She has been working in the counseling field since 1993 and specializes in teens and young adults. Amy is also a state certified alcohol and drug counselor. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient and residential treatment. In the past 10 years she worked at Dane County Mental Health in the Mentoring/Youth Crisis Unit and in the Child and Family Unit, all on an outpatient basis. Amy has also worked in an adolescent residential treatment center, an adolescent group home, and in private practice outpatient therapy. She uses a “strengths based” model of therapy with her clients. Amy sees clients with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction, eating disorders, relationship and family issues. She conducts teens/young adults groups for alcohol and drug issues as well as girl and young woman’s groups
